Chatham Islands
Current status
Currently there is one unused marine farm in the Chatham Islands. In June 2008 a hui was held to discuss the potential of marine farming in the Chatham Islands. The Chatham Island Council is now considering undertaking a study on the economic and environmental feasibility of aquaculture in the Chatham Islands.
